چکیده

Over the years, the ev8 code has been a very useful tool for the study of nuclear mean-field theory. Its main characteristic is that it solves the Hartree-Fock plus BCS equations for Skyrme type functionals via a discretization of the individual wave-functions on a three-dimensional cartesian mesh. This allows maximal flexibility in the determination of the nuclear shape by the variational process. For instance, the same mesh can be used to describe the oblate deformed, spherical, prolate deformed, superdeformed and fission configurations of a given nucleus. The quadrupole constraining operator yielding the deformation energy curve covering all these configurations is included in ev8. keywords.

Simulation of Store Separation using Low-cost CFD with Dynamic Meshing

The simulation of the store separation using the automatic coupling of dynamic equations with flow aerodynamics is addressed. The precision and cost (calculation time) were considered as comparators. The method used in the present research decreased the calculation cost while limiting the solution error within a specific and tolerable interval. The methods applied to model the aerodynamic force...

Application of Convolution of Daubechies Wavelet in Solving 3D Microscale DPL Problem

In this work, the triple convolution of Daubechies wavelet is used to solve the three dimensional (3D) microscale Dual Phase Lag (DPL) problem. Also, numerical solution of 3D time-dependent initial-boundary value problems of a microscopic heat equation is presented. To generate a 3D wavelet we used the triple convolution of a one dimensional wavelet. Using convolution we get a scaling function ...

Axially deformed solution of the Skyrme-Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov equations using the transformed harmonic oscillator basis (II) hfbtho v2.00d: A new version of the program

We describe the new version 2.00c of the code hfbtho that solves the nuclear Skyrme Hartree-Fock (HF) or Skyrme Hartree-Fock-Bogolyubov (HFB) problem by using the cylindrical transformed deformed harmonic-oscillator basis. In the new version, we have implemented the following features: (i) the modified Broyden method for non-linear problems, (ii) optional breaking of reflection symmetry, (iii) ...

OPTIMAL SOLUTION OF RICHARDS’ EQUATION FOR SLOPE INSTABILITY ANALYSIS USING AN INTEGRATED ENHANCED VERSION OF BLACK HOLE MECHANICS INTO THE FEM

One of the most crucial problems in geo-engineering is the instability of unsaturated slopes, causing severe loss of life and property worldwide. In this study, five novel meta-heuristic methods are employed to optimize locating the Critical Failure Surface (CFS) and corresponding Factor of Safety (FOS). A Finite Element Method (FEM) code is incorporated to convert the strong form of the Richar...

Hartree-Fock+BCS Approach to Unstable Nuclei with the Skyrme Force

We reanalyze the results of our extensive Hartree-Fock + BCS calculation from new points of view paying attention to the properties of unstable nuclei. The calculation has been done with the Skyrme SIII force for the ground and shape isomeric states of 1029 even-even nuclei ranging 2 ≤ Z ≤ 114. We also discuss the advantages of the employed three-dimensional Cartesian-mesh representation, espec...
